We have an exciting new platform available to help support our patients — it’s called eConsult.
eConsult is an online tool, available on the practice website, you can request advice and support for your medical problems without having to wait on the phone lines at 8am, in the comfort of your own home.
The platform has many features such as:
- General Advice
you can fill in a form for your symptoms, requesting advice from the GP. This may result in a prescription being sent to you, a telephone call or an appointment at the surgery.
- Self Help Resource
You can read up about your condition / symptoms from a trusted resource and be certain that the information you are reading is correct.
- Pharmacy Advice
You can read up about different medications that can be taken over the counter for certain conditions, in addition you may be directed to a pharmacist for advice.
- Administrative Requests
Submit any type of administrative request or query for your GP surgery (for example Sick Notes, Blood Results)
- Local Services
When you select a relevant condition, the platform will give you the option to seek advice from local services where appropriate (for example self refer to physiotherapy)
- Photo Uploads
Within the E Consult templates, you have the option to submit an image (where appropriate) to ensure your GP as the most accurate understanding of your condition
